New York eHealth Collaborative (NYeC) is a non-profit organization that improves healthcare by leading health information exchange among hospitals and medical practices across the state of New York. Each year, NYeC holds an event that honors hospital staff and administrators who make great contributions to healthcare. Typically a black tie event, the annual gala features many on-stage speakers who give a recap on the year in healthcare and confer awards to honorees, who also give speeches in gratitude.
We were tasked with creating a virtual one-hour event experience that still had a black tie feel. The virtual event seamlessly weaved together not only live entertainment (by The Revisionists, a NYC based Jazz Band) but multiple speakers and honorees located across the state. We traveled to many hospitals and office headquarters to film the speakers using a teleprompter and multiple angles. We created and delivered a full-length edited event including motion graphics and an exciting intro sequence that was incorporated into a virtual event platform hosted by Overland Entertainment.

Virtual Event
NYeC hosted the event at a single date and time just like an in-person gala. The video served as a way to continue to gather people in the industry and honor healthcare heroes without being in person.
